About Us
Our aim at Limerick Orthodontics is to provide adults, teens and young children with specialist orthodontic treatment in a friendly, caring, high technology practice.
Each patient receives a customised treatment plan tailored to their unique requirements.
Limerick Orthodontics is an Invisalign and Angel Aligner Certified Provider. We specialise in early treatment of young patients and orthognathic surgery cases.
Meet The Orthodontists
Mr. Ted McNamara
BDS NUI, DOrth RCS (Eng), FDS RCPS, FFDRCSI, FICD.
Mr. McNamara is the only consultant-trained orthodontist in private practice serving the Limerick, Clare and Tipperary region. He trained at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London, where he spent six years specialising in orthodontics.
He was recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons in England to train orthodontists for the public service in Limerick – where one of his trainees now leads the service, having won a UK gold medal for orthodontic and technical excellence.
He previously served as Consultant Orthodontist with the HSE West and now runs an exclusive private practice. He is supported by two orthodontic therapists he personally trained, along with a dedicated team of qualified dental nurses and a secretary.
